Tess is an enthusiastic Year Ten student - at least, she’s enthused when it comes to performing. She lives with her mum, dad and younger sister and says that “the best acoustics in my house is in the toilet, the best place to do homework is under my desk with the music up loud and the best place to act is in the kitchen whist dinner is being cooked”. Her sister complains of a permanent headache, pleading for a moment’s silence.

An actor 24/7 at home, she has found it challenging, but enjoyable to expand her skills amongst friends and fellow aspiring actresses (as the case has become). She is attending Toorak College and has been involved in many areas of school life, such as debating, performance (dance, drama and music), tennis, swimming and softball.

Since she could talk, she has loved singing. At the moment, jazz is her favourite style and she has performed many solos at school and in the community. Recent daredevil pursuits have curtailed her guitar playing and made saxophone difficult, due to a broken arm - “Lucky I have a voice!”. A career in acting and music is her goal for the future, and she hopes to be something between Angelia Jolie and Kate Cebrano.
